Some exercises can be just a bit too heavy. Fortunately, this doesn't have to be a reason not to try this one! Resistance bands can just give you the push so that the exercise succeeds. For example, you can start off with a heavier resistance band, then pick up a lighter one and eventually perform the exercise under your own power. A big advantage of this is that you can focus on your posture and technique from the start. This is something that gets more difficult if the exercise is too heavy.
Once you have the exercise under control, you can start using resistance bands to make the exercise harder!
